M. Sasikumar is a Tamil film director, actor and producer. He created a new trend in the Tamil film industry with his debut film Subramaniapuram in 2008. The low budget film received much attention for its original script, expert direction, screenplay, editing and accurate sets and costumes to resurrect Madurai from the 1980's.He is expected to have started his next directorial venture ‘Nagaram’ in august 2009, which will also casts new faces.
